Design a flower printed silk bandana and bamboo socks or a cotton crop top and a pair of bamboo socks. Use fresh & dried, local flowers to create your one of a kind botanical pieces. While your pieces steam away, there will be a mini Tataki Zome demonstration and discussion on fabric preparation. She worked as a science and garden educator and began following a creative path through natural dyeing. Lisa first learned about ecoprinting, printing leaves on fabric and paper, over a decade ago and was captivated. Through reading, workshops and a lot of experimentation, she aims to create functional, fun pieces, printed with botanicals. Lisa shares her passion through workshops around the Bay Area.
